Just wondering if anyone could tell me where I input the MMS settings as I can't find anywhere.
Instructions from O2 said to:
Press Start
Select Messaging
Select Menu

That is where I'm stuck as when I go into messaging theres no option which says menu.
Only options available are:
New
Tools
Accounts

I've tried going into accounts and clicking on New Account but it goes to set up a new email account (which I cannot use). When I click on Text message it just has the option to change the centre number.

Could someone advise me on what to do. I've spent 2 days trying to set things up (GPRS etc) and its starting to annoy me.

Found the problem. It appears that the previous owner(s) had removed a lot of the I Mates features. Have just done a complete reflash with the rom's on club i mate and the option is there. I then restored everything back onto the i mate and all the new stuff was replaced and no mms again. Am now reflashing again and then will have to set up the i mate from scratch (again )

Same here. Its really doing me head in. Still. Its much better than my old P900.
Just want to get it all working properly so I can start to put it to use.

i-mate have quite a few operator settings preinstalled into the extended ROM and when I first powered on, during the startup cycle of aligning the screen and choosing time zone etc it also prompted me with the list of operators and I simply picked mine and the phone was fully setup for gprs wap, gprs internet, mms etc without me entering a single settings

@masseur
Thanks for the info

I checked the system last night and there was no extended ROM in the I Mate (Start, Steeings, System, Device Info) which is why there were no settings on.
All that was there was the ROM version of 1.12.00 WWE
Radio Version of 1.12.10
Nothing else was present so I would assume that the previous owner(s) had removed/modified it. A lot of the programs were missing as well.

Had to pay $59.99 to register with club I mate and I downloaded the latest ROM's from there. Did the update and there was a lot more on the I Mate as well as the MMS feature and settings. Everything is working now

Also downloaded the MMS and Mp3 ringtone patch's too.

Device Information now shows:

ROM version: 1.12.00 WWE
Rom Date: 05/28/05
Radio Version 1.12.10
Protocol Version 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.12.128 WWE

what??? you had to pay to register?

just out of interest did you register as a second user? I'm guessing thats what it was because I have had 3 NEW i-mate products now and never had to pay to register them...

Yeah. Had to pay. I did a trade with another Esato member for their I Mate Jam for my W800. Went to register it on club i mate and was told the previous owner had already registered it. With it being a pre owned handset I had to pay $59.00 to register it in my name so I can access the site.
