Hi;

as topic... which is the maximum speed you reach when transfering files over / to PC?

I ask cause I'm thinking in buyin a dongle... and I'd want to know if it SUCKS for transfering files; since I already have the USB cable and the memory card reader (USB 2.0...), so transfering files over BT would be a total waste (I think). Am I right? I only want to buy it to transfer small files, sync info, use remote and it would be great if transfer speed didn't suck and I could use it to fill the 512 MB of the mem. stick!

Thanks

Mine starts at just over 50 before settling down at about 45,i always leave the phone about a foot away next to the dongle (100 metre range) cus i noticed it can drop to about 5-10 if i move around with it.

nothing beats bluetooth for transferring small files, no cables to worry about is really a bonus. You just right click, send to, select your phone, and say yes on the phone. I use bluetooth to transfer themes, games, wallpapers and to synchronise.

For all other functions I use the cable.
