Hi everyone, my P910i's flip died on me and since I've had this for over a year, it has tons of scratches! I finally decided to "upgrade my phone" to a new P910i (can't get enough of it). My question is, could I make a backup of my old P910i and then restore it to the new one? I'd like to "clone" my old phone to the new one. Anyone done this before?

Yep, if you restore the old back up onto your new p910, it will be a "clone".

I'm doing it now. I backed up the old phone and stick and now am restoring only the "phone memory" to the new phone. I'll be using the old stick on the new phone so I didn't restore that.

I've got my fingers crossed that everything will be okay. One concern is that some applications might not work since the IMEI no. is of course different on the new phone.

That's right, you will need to email the software companys for new unlock codes. Most of them will do this for free if you explain what has happened. Some, PhotoEditor for one, will charge you a small fee for a new code. A couple will charge you the full amount again.
Good luck!

The phone works perfectly! Only a couple of applications where looking for a code. I'll email the software company for it.
