in the service menu, theres an options called "text labels" which has all the labels for every single menu and option in the t68i. is there anyway to change these? for example, instead of "fun and games", "If your bored..."

thanks,
conrad

if you want to change them... you must get hold of the source code for the firmware (which easier said than done)... you can't just change it by connecting the phone to a computer and using some weird program

Actually, if you have the firmware image you CAN change it and upload it to the phone. Older ericsson phones (i.e. 337/338 hehe) had the ability to dump their firmware over the serial line. I don't know about T68.

the firmware on phones are updated with the help of the software EMMA.... this can only be done by servicepoints...

hehe....now if it would be only as easy as that...i doubt if you can change the text on the phone without changing hardware too...i think the t68's hardware doesn't support this....i've seen the older ericssons...as in...the really old ones are capable of this...unless SE comes out with a new firmware...
