Its not a belt handle. Its the ariel. you are not suppose to cover it with anything, not to hand the phone from anything using the ariel. That would affect the signal and maybe cause damage.
Anyway, my mother has the phone and i think its a great phone for its price. She got an excellent bluetooth phone for 80 quid. What a deal.
Has fast port so i can use my w800 cable to connect it to my PC to transfer things. The photo quality is good for a VGA cam. Battery time is great. She came from a k500 and thinks is a great phone too.
Totally recommended.

Hey. I got this phone on Thursday and have to say it's very good value for the money.
This is my first SE phone. The pictures are okay quality but I have seen better in other phones (Sagem, Nokia). The phone has stacks of features (all that I wanted in a phone anyway). People complained about it having a lack of memory therefore you can only store a few mp3s etc but at the end of the day it's not meant to be a high-end smartphone. I had a Siemens SX1 before and the amount of times it froze and crashed has put me off buying a high end phone (for a very long time at least).
As I mentioned lots of features, photo taking, videos, mp3 tones, novelty lights etc. The only reservation I had before buying it was it looked girly but no one has commented about it looking girly (and believe me I would get told about it by my mates if it did!).
The only other problem I've had with it is the battery. I don't know whether this is common with SE phones but the first two charges it's only lasted 2 days per charge which I don't think is enough to be honest. I had been playing the games a bit, but not loads so I don't think it would've affected it that much.
Ayway overall, nice phone, everyone comments on how great it looks (there's not many white phones about) and the features are great. Recommended!

These were taken in low light with an O2 branded Z520i. Not bad for a VGA camera. Really liking the phone and is my second next to my I Mate Jam.

Few quick questions about the Z520:
- Is there any difference between the Z520a and Z520i? Are they the same but just named diffrently for NA and rest of the world? Or are there features that are on one and not the other?
- On my Z600, the right select button gives me the following options: Turn on silent; Turn on Bluetooth; turn on infrared; Post note; and Phone status. But the same button no the Z520 sends me to the menu. Anyway, I can change that to do the same. I like having fast access to turning on/off bluetooth, iR and note.
- I can't find the calling/phone card option, which is a drag, since I make international calls a lot with a calling/phone card. Anyway around this other than entering the access number, code, and phone number into the entry?
Thanks for any help!

AFAIK, the Active menu (joy up) brings you the the same BT, IrDA, etc. turning options...
