I'm getting a contract tomorrow. Which of these two phones do you reckon, bearing in mind the w550i is a little bit cheaper....

Neither. Go for the K750 instead. Exactly the same as W800 except that the W800 can store music in files. Nothing else different.
K750 is also cheaper.
Have had all 3 phones now and regretting selling my K750. Going to be buying another one.

w550 is a good phone. if you don't think you need the epandable memory or camera of the w800 then i would seriously look at the 550. it depends how multi-media oriented you are. the 550 certainly looks a lot better IMHO

w800i is the way to go, 512mb msd, sext looking phone, 2mp camera, the w550 is just gonna be another crappy phone which will not be remembered in 6 months.

i've bought the W550i myself. i like the W800i more. but i personally don't need the extra memory nor the cam.
and i just love the w550 design and gaming options.
before buying make the same choice as i've made. more memory and much better cam? or diffirent design and 2 extra game buttons for better gaming.

I had a w550i and sent it back to switch for w800i.
Everything about the w550i is better (imo) but the camera is what made me change, w550i was blurry compared. Still good though.
