As we know, a SIM card is like a soul of your GSM phone [battery = heart, software = brain]
Just some questions about your SIM card:
* How old is your SIM card?
* How do you take care of your SIM card? Is it always inside one phone or do you often put it from one phone to another? Or you often keep it in your wallet where it can be easily scratched by coins.
* How frequently do you change your old SIM card for a new one? And for what reasons?
* How long have you used one SIM card? I mean, how old is your oldest working SIM card.
* Has your SIM card ever died of "being too old"? (Is not able to work.)

* How old is your SIM card? A little over 2 years.
* How do you take care of your SIM card? It's always in my fone (k750i), except when I buy a new fone.
* How frequently do you change your old SIM card for a new one? And for what reasons? Never have changed it.
* How long have you used one SIM card? I mean, how old is your oldest working SIM card. See first question. ;p
* Has your SIM card ever died of "being too old"? (Is not able to work.) Nope.. only ever used one sim.. and it hasn't died from that..

all my sim cards i have got within the last year. So under a year old. I have 2 phones. A

t630 and a Nokia 3210. Along with the 2 phones I have 3 sim cards. 2 With orange and 1 with o2. During the day I have one of my orange sim cards in my

t630 phone. I have my o2 sim card in my Nokia phone all the time. In the evenings I swap my day time Orange sim card with my evening Orange sim card. The Sim card that is not being used either during the day or at night is kept in a little memory card holder box that I got with my nokia 6230i phone.
So its kept away from any dust etc.

Thank you for the answers.
I'm asking it because I'm just curious. Mainly people talk about mobile phones - but without SIM card the GSM phone is quite useless.
By the way, I have read that the lifetime of a SIM card could reach up to 10 years. Interesting whether anyone has used his/her SIM card for such a long time.

My newest is an Orange sim, came with W800i jus over a month ago.
My oldest is my Genie Sim which is still the original on my original contract which I still use (jus for the free texts!!!) is almost 5 years old. (5yrs in feb!)
Dont do anything to take care of them tbh.
Only swap them into new phones when I have to!
