Thanks!

I think the T68i was the first phone with both of them at the same time.

But not sure. Anyone know the answers to the 3 questions?

Edit: Thanks crowing, I was a bit late in posting.

Anyone want to make sure those are correct?

I don't think Ericsson T39 was the first bluetooth phone. Didn't find anything on Google. Too much stuff came up.

We should have a topic stateing all the phones with got the features first such as GPRS.

Is that a good idea?

Just to kill off my own suggestion! LOL

Found this article:

Ericsson unveils the first GPRS phone with Bluetooth™ - the R520

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Date: Monday, June 5 2000

- One of three world premiers in Singapore

Today, at CommunicAsia in Singapore, Ericsson unveiled the first GPRS phone with Bluetooth, the triple band R520. A world premier, the R520 is the first step toward more advanced mobile Internet applications, featuring GPRS, High Speed Data (HSCSD), Bluetooth™ wireless technology and WAP.

BUT:

Then find another article :

June 8, 2000
The T36 is the first mobile phone to have built-in Bluetooth wireless technology, according to Ericsson.

I don't think the T36 ever made it into production.
First phone with with :bt: is still the R520, the T68i was the first to have both BT and MMS.

So we know the first phone with GPRS, and the first phone with Bluetooth and MMS (T68i). We need to know the first phone with Bluetooth. I am confused which phone is it out of the two?

BT + MMS = SE T68i
BT = ?
MMS = Nokia 3510
GPRS = Ericsson R520 [http://www.cellular.co.za/phones/ericsson/archive/ericsson_r520.htm]

Please check all of thoughs to see if they are correct. Thanks.

Here's a harder one (I think): First Phone with Infrared.

It would be very usful to have a timeline stateing which phones came out with the features.

I believe the Motorola T260 was the first commercially available GPRS handset.
