I'm currently using O2 WAP via GPRS and was wondering whether I could use O2 WAP via GSM, using the dial up number +447712927927 as provided by 02? The reason for doing this is that I believe that this number is free to call, as long as you have free minutes left on your tariff, making it cheaper to use this than pay for GPRS acess. My phone is a K750i on the 02 250 tarriff costing £35 a month and billed by the Carphone Warehouse.

yes you can use the above number, however it will charge you 10p per minute! It wont take the minutes off your allowance.
