Simple question. Is the w800 joystick going to screw up after 6 months like my k750i?

simple answer - noone can tell.
None of my joysticks ever screwed up, neither on my T310, T610, K700, K750 and W800
Usually if they screw up, its because of dust and dirt, from keaping the phone in pockets etc. instead of in an antistatic case. They can be cleaned if this is the case.

yes it does screw up , mine did just after 3 months, fully jammed.
Got it serviced at SE service centre and works like new again.

@dfthd - So whatever happened to the joystick of your - K750i

Were you able to use it again? If so, you will just know what to do 'next' time the keypad of your W800i gives in.

@df its up to u and the manufacturer ( of course ) i usually try to avoid to use the joy - if possible - instead of it use the keypad.

Mine started going funny after 2 months, quicker than my T610i.If its dust why don't they make joysticks sealed against dust.

good point! the first joy fone -t68m - had the same solution as the later models, no seal around it. so the question is: where is the development?
