$275 USD is cheap. That is less then cost for the carriers. Cingular sells them for $250 with a 2 year contract, with a $50 mail in rebate. Where did you see the price?

smuggled sets are flooding all over
You can find many smuggled sets in any of the non-authourized phone shops
Price for T68m is like only USD220
Price for T68i is only USD280,but T68i smuggled sets are quite hard to find if you are not familiar with the suppliers
the bad part is none of the sets come with warranty
