both

well, I had the D600 last week and will probably get the V3i to check it out though I am also wiating to see the V3x too, oh... and the L7 oh, and...

I guess this question isn't so different than the D500 vs V3 choice we had last year and it really cmoes down to which styling you like though I feel the capabilities of both are much more even this year compared to last year where the V3 lost outon video recording, memory and other features that the D500 had

For me, I just love the V3 style. I still have my V3 and carry it almost every day as a spare

It's the Samsung D600 for me - over all ! But when it comes to the camera resolution issue, I'll definitely go for the - Motorola V3i !

the only moto i've considered was a V3, i did think about waiting for a pebl or a V3x, but moto have gone way off the original v3. The thickness of the phone has amost doubled, and it's now too heavy.

Such a shame, as moto were onto a winner for a change.

Moto over Samsung any day of the week!
Samsungs are the most childish, annoying ill thought out phones of the "Big four" IMO They are totally resistant to any and all user modifications/customising where the Motos can be tweaked all over the place, although it helps being a Unix admin to do so
Also i donīt like sliders with their inherent tendency to go either gritty or sloppy/rattly in relatively short time.

I've always loved the looks of the V3, so all I needed was expandable memory, better cam, video recording, its all I need! (well...)

The D600 is tempting, especially with the awesome samsung video recording skills, and the uprated 2mp cam, but to be honest, as long as the cams are of decent quality, thats fine, the actual resolution isn't as important, as long as it fits around about 1024x768 for my laptop, otherwise its too small for me to be honest.

At the moment I am hugely leaning on the V3i, but are the V3 menu's any good? and hows the BT capabilities?

Charlie -

Thanks!

i guess you've been using another Motorola, because skins have just recentley been applied (i use the word recent felixbly) and even then the themes aren't high in quantity.

Samsungs are extreeemly fast when it comes to GUI.

I think the V3x will be hot when it eventually gets released. One thing I hate about Samsung (LG) is their whole childish take on their phones from the sounds to the menu colours.

I agree completely, but no, I've never used a moto for more than a couple of minutes....

Is the GUI fast, slow, smooth, animated???
