HI

recently purchased the w550i and a PAYG UK vodafone simm. For some reason the sonyericsson website does not provide Vodafone Pay as you go settings for the w550i. Ive even emailed their support which was a complete waste of time as they dont even investigate, they just look on the website, see the settings are not available and report this to the customer, GREAT!

has anyone got a W550i on vodagone PAYG and got MMS working? Ive managed to tweak the Contract settings from the sonyericcson website to get GPRS web access working ok, but cannot work out how to setup MMS PAYG manually.

How much did you pay for your w550i ? and did you purchase the phone in london. the reason i ask is am looking for a PAYG w550i aswell.

I actually got it from Pixmania.com - £215
Wouldnt advise purchasing from this co. though, poor cusotmer services and the phone is under french Sonyericsson warranty which i wanst aware when purchasing! - have to return to france if something goes wrong!
