Greetings everyone...
Is there any audio player application for UIQ that support M4A (AAC) file format?
Thanks.

no, I believe m4a native support only came available in the P910 and a quick search seems to confirm that ("
AAC On P series! At Last!")
not sure about a player for ealier P series to play these though

@ masseur:
Thanks for your info, my friend. On that thread I cannot found any track for available audio player application for UIQ (P900) that support M4A (AAC) file format though.
I am looking for such application for my P900 like the Beta Player application for Windows Mobile OS.

talking of beta player (now called
TCMP - The Core Media Player), I also use this on my windows mobile devices.
If you use this you might be interested to know that in their latest version 0.7 (just released) of this software they have actually removed AAC support because of intellectual property considerations apparantly
however I only use it for movies so this doesn't worry me too much
sorry I can't help you for the P900

No problem, my friend. I just hope that someday there's such application from any UIQ application developers.
Regarding to TCPMP (was Beta Player) I've already known that their later versions do not support AAC anymore due to the same reason as you've mentioned. That's why I did not upgrade to TCPMP and I still stick to the latest version of Beta Player (just before it got renamed to TCPMP). It's simply because I still want AAC support for my M4A songs I have so I can play the songs in my hx2750 besides my iPod shuffle.
Thanks and have a nice day.

Did you mean that PowerMP3 can play M4A (AAC) file? Really? Wow, this is a great news for me if it's true.
Many thanks to you, my friend.

It's true, I'm playing AAC files from iTunes (non protected ones) on my phone using PowerMP3
Currently the EQ does not work for AAC, but that should come in an update soon.

@ Peter321:
I've tried PowerMP3 and I cannot load an AAC song, the audio file is in M4A file format.
I wonder what is the version of your PowerMP3 anyway?
