ive heard of the western union scam where the person from nigeria pays you with western union and you recieve the money in your account when you prove you have posted the item.

however i am currently dealing with a similar sounding paypal deal. I got emails from paypal today saying.

What to Do Next
-----------------------------------
The fund has been deducted from (xxxx@mmail.com) and will be credited into your account (yyyyy@hotmail.com) immediately the shipment is confirmed .Get back to us with the shipping tracking number and the money will be credited immediately. Mail the tracking number to our customercare at : paypal_international@usa.com

no money has appeared on my paypal account statement, is the email even official? paypal_international@usa.com

getting worried about this deal now. what you think i should do.

sounds like a scam unfortunately. I can find no evidence that this email address belongs to paypal and this type of email almost sounds like an escrow service which paypal also do not offer

Yes, I agree. That is almost definately not a legit paypal email address, apart from anything else.

EDIT: It definately isn't legit! Take a look here:

http://www.usa.com/

Anyone can sign up for a xxxxxx@usa.com email address!
