i recently got an o2 genie sim and have started using it. I topped up with £10 yesterday but when i text, it still charges me! Does nayone know what i have to do, to make it work?

Wait! It takes a day or two for them to activate your free texts. If I recall correctly they send you a text to notify you when your free allowance starts. Then they'll send you another text to tell you when its time to top-up again, in a months time.

from experiance the free texts work after youve made a call. try calling you mate for a minute then you should get em.

Well my "300 free text a month" haven't been on my fone for the last 3 months... i've prob topped up £250+ in these 3 months, so it's not like i'm not toppping up enough. Any one got any ideas on how to get my free text back?!
Also suggesting i go on contract doesn't help...

but i still need to fix my free text as i'm keeping this sim just for the "free" text.
