Well after being sold a "nicked" phone I got a new replacement from the shop. Now the thing thats totally confusing me is all this talk of de-branding/davinci website/firmware/updates etc, all this talk has gone wayyyyy over my head. So can any of you explain it a non techno numpty like me. Many thanks

De-branding I think is basically the removal of any branded features on your phone that links to a particular network like Orange or Vodaphone.
davinci is basically a net site that can be used to update, unlock etc Sony Ericsson phones (Unlocking means that you can use any sim chip in your phone such as orange, O2 etc. Normally phones are locked to whomever you got the phone from i.e Orange)
