> W800i and spinning beach ball
Bookmark topic
I have had many problems with 3 different D750i phones (crashes during phone calls, not charging, etc.), so I decided to give a W800i a try. T-Mobile Germany sent me the new Robbie Williams edition (couldn't care less) of the W800i and my problems continue ...
... no crashes so far, BUT: using the USB cable, the phone charges. Sometimes it connects to iPhoto - but only sometimes -, if it does it sometimes loads the photos, at other times it just hangs doing nothing.
In the Finder, the phone memory card mounts (mostly), but as soon as I try to access it I get a spinning beach ball ... forever ... ejecting/dis-mounting does not work either, so I have to disconnect the phone, getting the usual error message in Mac OS 10.4.3 about having disconnected a memory device and possible loss of data.
I find these experiences with SE phones increasingly unsatisfactory. Does anyone else have similar problems? Is there a solution?
I'd be grateful for any kind of help from the kind members of this forum!
