Has anyone some expirience of the i-Cybie? http://www.i-cybie.com/

It looks pretty much like sony's aibo and I found it on eBay when I was looking at some aibos.

Can someone tell me if this is just some piece of crap? I was thinking about to buy one of these for my little brother and sister, as I think aibo would maby be too expencive for a christmas gift for them.

my kids have had one each for almost 2 years and still enjoy them. They have great range of movement though they take 4 hours for each charge and, IMHO, better than their robosapien or other similar electronic toys

my kids wanted Aibo and as much as I would have liked one too its just a price I couldn't justify

so I got them an i-Cybie each and they are great fun!

maybe if I see a decent priced Aibo on ebay I will go for it. I don;t like the latest ones with the round faces though

oh, great! a recommendation from masseur is surely a good thing
But about charging, do I allways need to plug the i-cybie to a charger? Or is it can it walk itself to a charger station kike the aibo can do?

to charge you need to remove the battery from the toy and put it into an external charger. its no where near as fully functioned as the aibo but then these cost £50 when the kids got them compared to well over £1000 for the aibo
