Okay I know it's got nothing to do with mobile phones but thought it's a good place to get some of your views!
I am looking to buy a Sat Nav system for my car and can't decide between these three...Is anyone using
1. Navman ICN520
2. Tom Tom Go
3. RAC Smartnav
Can you give me your views on these systems - thanks

personally i am using the latest tom tom go 700 - absolute bargain from comet for £499.99 with a free extra car kit and in-car charger, and also a free orange motorola v545i (not sure why lol) its perfect for european driving and includes uk & full euro maps.
used to use a navman and preferred it but decided to try something different and so far tom tom is ok.

I'd like to suggest other options
I've been a long time garmin user, since the Garmin GPS III, and have been through many Garmin units, including aviation specific units, and have always been very happy with their functionality and usability
Right now I use the
2610 in car
and the
quest for personal navigation
edit: btw, I'm in the market for a
296 (aviation GPS which can also use the street mapping)
or even the newer
396

WoW! Those Garmins look well complicated? Are they Masseur?
Also - Argos are currenty doing the icn520 for £250! That's a bargain i'm sure?

not at all. well, at least the first couple of garmins I posted which I currently use are fairly straight forward but the aviation ones are certainly more complicated as they deal with space in 3d and provide alarms when near or in controlled airpsace, can suggest descent profiles and also have full jeppesen databases for GPS approach and aircraft navigation
its funny though that ocassionaly I find I wanna go a slightly different way to what the GPS says and as soon as you get off the route suggested by the GPS it says "off route, recalculating" and I just wanna tell the b***ch to shut the hell up as I know where I am going

. Its weired arguing with a GPS and certainly my kids are sitting in the back laughing their heads off!
