> £50 for a k750i ? orange reps

i was talking to this guy the other night in the pub and he said to me
he has a friend who's a rep for orange or similar, and that he could get
for this guy a k750i brand new in a box for £50 uk pounds. i dont believe him, is it possible a rep has access to phones that cheap.
i think he was having me on to many pints.surely even reps cant get them that cheap anyone know.

Well i do know for sure that reps do get heavy discounts usally anything upto 50% but that varies from company to company,he could be telling the truth because i know about some reps getting 70% i wont mention the company otherwise i could get in big trouble.

I wouldnt be at all surprised if that was true. However i bet he will have a limit on how many discounted phones he can have per anum, and it will be quite low (probs under 10). This is certainly how it works for reps and employees of many companies ie. ford motor company etc. give huge discounts on cars to their employees however they are only allowed to use their disscount like twice in a year.

that would be to easy, stock checks etc long term not worth the Sack if you have bills debts mortgage etc, just for a couple of phones.

The K750i currently costs about £200 new from orange (for dealers) so even with a discount it'd be £100 - I guess he's doing something dodgy .... unless he's gonna sell you a contract too
