On a couple of the latest batch of MP3s I've transferred, I get other tracks bleeding in for 2/3 seconds. I really cant believe this is happening on a digital format!!
At first I thought it was a brief glitch in the memory stick, but the tracks are actually recorded to the stick like that.
Any explainations?

Are they MP3's that you have bought or did you rip them from a cd?

What do you mean by bleeding? Most phones have flash memory, so I don't know how they would skip. My mp3 player started to skip but its an old school hardrive type.

I mean a few seconds of one track I've transferred to my phone randomly appearing over another.
