Hello,

Has anyone got Outlook 2003 (with Office XP/SP2) going with SE PC Suite and K750i going? for the the administrator user, Sync Manager just exits without doing anything. For non administrator user, it fails to initialise with the following error on Event Logs:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MsiInstaller
Event Category: None
Event ID: 11706
...
Description:
Product: Sony Ericsson PC Suite -- Error 1706.No valid source could be found for product Sony Ericsson PC Suite. The Windows Installer cannot continue.

I have contacted SE about this, and while they say they are aware of the problem, the are not able to look into this unless I provide them with megabytes of personal and confidential information about my computer.

dump the SE software and try My Phone Explorer...
