im using a t68i on vodaphone gsm and an email account with ntlworld.com

the setting im using are as follows:-

connect using vodaphone gsm
pop3
inc server 62.253.162.50
inc port 110
mailbox username
password password
outgoing server 62.253.162.40
outgoing port 25
email address username@ntlworld.com

any idea why i cannot send ? im new to all this so i havent a clue what im doing

i checked the ports that in the account settings in outlook and they match, and also double checked the addresses

ie
incomming pop.ntlworld.com = 62.253.162.50
outgoing smtp.ntlworld.com = 62.253.162.40

any help much welcomed ty.

hello - chnge the incoming server to read pop.ntlworld.com and the outgoing server to read smtp.ntlworld.com - works for me using the T68i and ntlworld

outgoing smtp address may need to be changed to that of your wap service provider...some dont allow you to use other smtp addresses when connecting to them. This post was posted from a T68i
