i have got some application for my series 60 nokia phone is it possible to instal this application on p910. it has got *.jad file and *.rar and in this *.rar folder there are file with extension *.class,*png and MANIFEST.MF.
if i install the software by using install software option in SE pc suite there is following error
please help me and tell me what to do???

Not possible, I'm afraid. The error message says it all really, there are quite a few variants of the mobile java runtime engine, Nokia and SE smartphones use different versions so this particular app cannot run on a SE smartphone.
That's not to say that all apps will be incompatible though, although I think you'll find that the vast majority are.

if it's a rar file just send it to your phone via infrared or blutooth and let your phone intall it. rar, jar files cannot be installed from your sonyericsson pc suite. exept if you install this little program on your computer...... :!:

Series 60 and uiq are different OSs and the apps for both are most the time not compatible. A .rar file is a compressed file (like a .zip file). When decompressed it can take on any file extension. (original file may be a .sis, .jad, etc.). So you need to check if the original file is made for your particular fon.

Anyway apps meant for seriees 60 devices wont work on the Pseries..
