What does Sony Ericsson Update Service through internet do? Does it automatically updates my phones firmware? Wha if i get disconnected in the middle of updation?

yup, Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) will automatically update your phone's firmware. But you will be asked to install drivers & update software before you try to update through internet.

Im not sure what will happen once internet connection failed during the update session.

@ali_baba no offense to you as i understand you have only just joined, but please have a read through the forums first before posting a New Topic. There are many topics in the software section about firmware and how to update it via SEUS.

It doesn't matter if you get disconnected, since before flashing your phone, all the firmware gets downloaded to your hard drive. But if you lose power source during flashing... then you lose a nice phone with it too.
