Hi frnds!
All of u who r using an AirTel connection in India (both PostPaid nd PrePaid) pls post ur experiences in this forum. Also tell how better the service shud be if u r unsatisfied with any. Also post any tips u've got to share, here....

Well, here's mine.
I'm frm Kerala nd am using an AirTel Friendz. AirTel has got very gud voice clarity than other operators, but it looses on coverage to BSNL nd sometimes even to Idea. Call rates are A2A local 0.90rs, A2other mobiles 0.90rs, A2 landline 1.50rs, STD calls 2.25rs. Msg cost me 0.15rs within India. 3rs for international msg. AirTel's call rates are now the most attractive in the state! Full GPRS wud cost u 250rs/month. Thats not gud.

currently in Maharashtra circle
prices are just rockin...there are as follows
A2A=10PAISA
A2Others=1 Rs
Sms A2A=10paisa
Sms A2Others=25paisa
Gprs unlimited
dowload....@5rs per day on prepaid
GReat voice clarity and gud coverage

I'm on Airtel postpaid and all I want changed is the download limit on Mobile Office (100 Mb). It would have been OK on the Rs.199 Mobile Office but on the Rs.399 Mobile Office, it's not. I hope they get rid of it completely.

Airtel sucks.They charged me for 174 KB when I had used less than 100 KB.The customer agent told me that KB's are rounded up to the nearest MB.When I asked after what period it's rounded up,he said it's rounded for EVERY download.Now doesn't this SUCK? If I download only 1 KB, it will still count as 1 MB.That means you guys CHEAT us of 1023 KB.Round up at the end of the month, that's FINE!This is burglery.TRAI forbidded making misleading claims. I think Airtel needs to comply to it when they promote MO.

well airtel sucks with my sony k750i but then i shifted to orange and now i get gr8 network in orange which was not at all good in airtel(mumbai)
