well here the problem , i have a p800 , but it doent6 work with the mem stick , it wont format or write or read from it , just wondering is that a common prob with the phone or its just mine , what are yall suggestions

had the same problem with my p910i. the 128mb ms duo from sony is not working. the media files always becomes corrupted. i still could format it though. now, the supplier will swap it with a 256mb ms pro duo so i hope the problem will not be the same

Does the stick work in the PC?... If it does, check how the card is formatted, as far as im aware it needs to be FAT 16.
If this doesn't work try formatting it in the PC then putting it in the phone and see if it allows you to formatt it agin using the phone.
I have had a problem similar to this before and that worked for me.

You can right click on "My Computer" go to "Manage" then select "Disk Managment" I think (Im at work so cant remember the titles exactly). The MS should be listed in the right section of the screen, you can right click it then "Format".
Another way is to go to "My Computer", right click on your "MS" then "Format".
