anyone knows how to use a SE phones as a remote control to TV using infrared? what is the require software? Like the k700/750i phones...etc...

i have ir remote on my p910. works just like the ordinary remote control. you can imagine how the peeps eyes in bars suddenly squint when all of a sudden the channel changes as their fav sport is being played. i use total ir remote. i dont know if it is possible for k series

Once (with my old 3650) I tested it, but it work only from 1, 1.5 meters.

I tried the demo version of this, found it to be pretty shoddy tbh. The max range I got out of it was about 20 centimeters

lol.... whats the use of Ir remote control if the range is very short? just a sake for having it? hahaha.... i rather use mind hands... thanks by the way for the info.... i still can use my BT as a remote for some compatible devices..... c yah!
