Hi, i just received my w800 today and i noticed something about the hearphone: the right wire (leading to the right earbud) is much longer than the left earbud´s wire. Understand? theres a wire between the 3.5mm jack and a gray piece of plastic from which 2 wires emerge, but the left one is small and the right one is quite long. Sorry if this is a silly question, but is this normal????????????? it feels a bit wierd

ps: another thing i noticed is that the battery´s cover on the back of the phone is a bit squeaky on the right side, is this also normal or should i replace my phone??

thx a lot!

If your handsfree/earphone doesn't come with the sleeve, that shall be normal for the left side to be shorther than right one since you will place the receive call button in your left side (may be clipped on to your pocket, etc.).
If it comes with a sleeve, the cables from left and right side of the sleeve will be in the same length but in the left part you'll find another cable for connection with the handset.

In this pict one of the wires is also bigger than the other and one of them has a long thick plastic region while neither of mine have that. What about yours???

if you've been living under a rock, i will explain earbuds are being made this way now because it cuts down on the cords hanging in front of you.

the left earpiece goes in your left ear. now take the right earpiece, throw the long part behind your neck, and come around and put the right earpiece in.

the design is so you dont have wires hanging down your chest, but rather stowed around your neck.

what do you mean by sleeve?
(the button on the adaptor is for receiving calls and thats the reason the left wire is shorter, is this what your saying?

Mine is the same as the one in this pic:

What you called "plastic region" is a sleeve. Left side of the sleeve has two cords: 1 for your left ear and one for connection with your W800 fast port.
Left and right cords for your ears are in the same length.
