I used to have a Nokia 8260 and always had to use the keylock as the keys seemed so sensitive.
I switched the auto-keylock feature on the t68i on so it locks automatically. It seems like a little more of a pain unlocking this phone and dialing.
My question is this, do those of you who do NOT use keylock find that your phone accidently dials numbers a lot? How about in comparision to the Nokia 8260
I am hoping a can stop using the whole keylock thing.

turn off the keylock... put the phone in your pocket and you'll see that the keylock is needed

Much like cytech said, if you place your phone in the pocket, those keys gets pressed around - i don't want to make any (billable) accidental calls.
(and that's another reason I miss my T39)

I've got a well fitting clear plastic case for my T68i. With one of these on it is much more difficult to accidentally press any keys/dial any numbers from the phone when it is in your pocket with the keylock off.
Also it protects the phone from being scratched by coins, keys etc.

It's not unwanted call that are the problem, finding that your phone has turned itself off is annoying as well.

Perhaps a keypads that uses touch screen technology will solve the problem of having to lock keypads. Only statics charges on fingers can activate keypad.
Then it will be too expensive to manufacture and probably drains battery fast

Automatic keylock is very annoying. I like to be in firm control of my phone and lock the keypad manually. I was using a friend's T68i once that had auto-keylock on and I ended up almost throwing the phone in anger.

The keylock itself is OK and very useful, the auto lock however is just a pain. I find generally though that the joystick gets pushed up/down in my pocket so it will dial numbers eventually given enough time

i don't really find it a hassle, because all you have to do is hit option and then yes (and you can do it really fast, the phone catches up) to lock the phone and the same thing for c and yes to unlock.
