hi all...
lately i am getting a problem in using the touch screen of my p910. When i press a specific key,the function of the key two or three keys up from the touched key is executed, for example if i touch "9" on my virtual keyboard ,"3" is pressed and like that. I know it may be a problem of screen calibration but i cannot go on the screen settings due to the same problem as the tab for "screen" is almost at the bottom of the screen and to press it i would have to press the key quite below it. Any one have any idea what may be the solution or on the first hand what may be the problem except this calibration problem. Thanx

It's mechanical problem, you have to replace your touch screen. Send it to service centre.

check if you have crumbs, dust or other things stuck in the frame around the screen. that sometimes causes the digitizer to freak out.

back your phone up. it should work fine with the touch screen been faulty...

then hoping you have insurance via your network provider have a new handset delivred. restore your old settings on the new phone and you'll be sorted!

Also if the phone can be fixed, and is still under a year old you can take it to any of the larger carphone warehouses. there's one in leeds for example if your in the uk. They will be able to fix the phone free of charge using sony's gaurentee.

To do a "Master Reset" in P910. Open 'Control Panel'. Tap 'Other' tab. Tap 'Master Reset' and follow the instructions. Make sure to take a backup. Dont blame/curse me for the loss in data.
