I think most people who have been here for more than five minutes will know which stage I'm at or rather they may think they know which stage I'm at. Personally I would place myself towards the border of stages three and four. If we are going by these 'rules' then I have been in stage three for a while now, however, I have been steadily moving towards stage four.

When I joined there were the likes of pachy, MixiN, fijbert and of course Vlammetje. That was my 'Golden Age'. As these people gradually left and new members such as methylated_spirit, DJ_Creamz, Sammy_boy, etc joined I went into my 'Silver Age'. Gradually I entered the 'Limbo' stage.

The article is actually quite accurate in its analysis. No matter how many times I say it none of you who weren't around at the time will ever appreciate what I mean when I say that I think Esato was better at the time I joined than it is now. It would be like asking someone to appreciate life before they were born. It's the people who make those times special, but for me those people are almost all gone now. Of course their posts still remain, preserving them and that time forever.

hmm. A valid point, but only if you've got far too much time on your hands and spend your entire life online
