Have had a K750i for a couple of months and use the Live site every couple of days to check news etc. or so but its stopped working. Get the error message 'Communication failure. Try again or contact your operator for support'. Its been like this for a couple of days.

I can access other sites though. Either through Opera mini or the built in browser so assume the GPRS/WAP settings are okay. SMS/MMS also working along with everything else.

Anyone ever seen this or got any thoughts.

UK Vodafone pay monthly setup.

Chand your live internet profile settings from http to wap mode. I've had loadsa time out failures on http mode the last few days. Just remember you won't get 400kb + downloads on wap mode. This message was posted from a K750

Done that and now get a 'Temporary error'. Again, other sites work through both browsers but not Live.

Any other thoughts??????

Have now chosen the Vodafone WAP profile rather than GPRS, still with HTTP and it seems to work.

Is this still a 'free browsing' service as I'm able to currently browse any site and not get charged.

Can't guarantee it, i'm on payandgo. I wasn't charged on http or wap mode whenever i browsed the live pages. As soon as i used other sites i was though, obviously. This message was posted from a K750

That's what gets me. I'm not being charged for browsing any site. Wasn't sure at first as the blurb says you'll be charged if you go to sites other than Live.

Making sure by checking my account online regularly but every WAP or Internet connection is priced at zero. Not complaining though!

No problem. Just make sure you keep checking your bill though. I'm on free right now too, not got any credit. But i just try a few times to connect to live, when it connects i can go anywhere :-D This message was posted from a K750
