I have been an avid fan of Sony Ericsson..my first phone was a T39, then I tried N6510 and sold it after 2days. Then I bought a T68i, used it for 6months. Then a P800, used it for 3years. Then a P900, used for a year. Then my mom gave me a N9300 communicator but immediately swapped it to a P910i..

I just want to asked you guys...did i made a mistake?

Which is better anyway? I never tried using communicators before because I am used in having an SE fon as my daily companion for the past 5 years...

I really despise these "which is better" threads because what is better for me is not always going to be better for you. I guess we can compare the devices as devices only but that would be useless without some context in how they are to be used.

having said that, and at the risk of sounding like 90% of the Esato membership who would simply say the choice, in this case it seems your vast experience of the P series has made you comfortable with them, you know their capabilities, limitations and presumably have software for them too.

It doesn't sound like you gave the 9300 much of a run though so perhaps more time spent with that before going to the P910 might have given you a better idea yourself. Sometimes something fresh can open our eyes to other possibilites.

The 9300 is a capable device though now its successor (with wifi) has been announced, as has the P910 successor (also with wifi and 3G). While I haven't used the 9300 extensively, I have used the 9000, 9110 and 9210 alot but personally prefer the P series which is strange as I prefer landscape mode on my windows mobile devices (like the 9300) rather than portrait mode (like the P series). I guess it comes down to usability, availablity of software and forums such as this to help with issues etc etc

from what you have written I think you have made the best choice for yourself so good luck with the P910, enjoy and don't regret

wow..thanks for the immediate reply sir masseur.. you're right. it's just that i have tons of apps for uiq devices and i am really got used to touch screen navigation and stereo sound that 9300 doesn't have.
also, i have had an experience one morning on my 9300 that neither of the 8 shortcut keys is functioning. and headset profile was activated even though there's no headset being attached, ruining all my incoming calls for the entire day..
