> New LG U8550 widescreen Music Phone

The Italian operator Tre has released new LG phone the U8550.It’s a fashion music phone for 3G UMTS standard.There are two color screens, a 1.3-megapixel camera and Bluetooth interface.Music control buttons are located on the front panel.The memory can be extended with microSD (TransFlash) cards. Dimensions are 90×55x24.7 mm and weight 135 g. It will be offered for sale with the compact stereo system and a 256 MB memory card with the album of Eros Ramazzotti onboard.

Well they have billed it as a Wide LCD (as written on phone front)which i admit is rather squarish its a 2.2" 220x220 pixel TFT panel.

I have to agree! Nicer than the previous LG UXXXX range.
Widescreen I guess by the fact it plays them in that and the bottom half is controls, much like Windows Media Player..

i played with that some days ago, well, its just another toy. 3 in austria and italy is full with lg umts fones, ppl buy it as it would be for free.
