i just downloaded it to get all my 1000 songs ready for christmas, but i have no idea what im doing, ive read the help pages, but i still dont get it. My songs seem to fade into one another, which i dont really want, also i read that you could get all your songs the same volume, cos some of my songs are quieter than others. And finally i want to get my album art on, but i dont want to put it on one by one by getting piccys off google and putting them on each song. I know its alot to ask, but if someone can help, id appreciate it muchly.

hi mate, I can help with that, 1st thing you need to do to sort out the fade is go to file > preferences > playback, and where it shows crossfafe layback turn that down to nothing.
To get all songs to the same volume click one song then press ctrl and A at the sime time, this will select all songs, then right click and go down to get info, and it should have a volume ajustment bar, now move that to about 60-70% and it will do it for you
to get all the album art (I did this recently but im on mac) search google for "itunes album art" and there should be a program that you can run on the pc that can out it in for you, though it will normally come up with a selection of album art, so you will have to click the one you want (was like that on my mac program I USED)

yeh, I used one designed for macs, but I saw lots of ones for windows when I was looking and it was easy/safe to use, probally took about 30 min to do over 1300 songs/album art
