Ok, now... I want something to play a few small vids on and of course, play music, that's the main thing. I have my phone (P910i) for movies.

Now which of these you think is the best option, maybe list a few pro's/con's

I've already had a PSP:
Pros - Very good battery life
Cons - Large, not really pocket size. (I know screen is great, but i need an everyday thing).

To me i think the iPod video will be perfect, what you guys think?

PSP for me. not just music and vids, but photos, games, full films, UMD films, music vids etc. Better than a P910i screen for movies anyday. (had a P910i and now got a PSP) iPods are too common, everyones like yeah an iPod, and it scratches. But with the PSP everyone crowds round on the bus on the morning, people looking over shoulders, from sides even upside down in front. Me and my mate just laugh at em, whilst theres people all around with cheap white earbuds, lol!

Edit: Also through an easy program you can send all files via wifi to each other.

The ipod is best for your needs, and anyway you cannot compare an ipod video to a psp as the psp has far more functions than the ipod.

iPod video has more memory, the only thing psps can do better than iPod videos are, better, bigger/wider screen, it plays some movies which you have to buy anyway, and some games which are damn expensive, where as iPod video plays vids, photos, radio poscasts, music, audiobooks, 30gb/60gb memory, looks better, smaller, i know what i'd go for...

Yeah i know the psp CAN do a lot more, but the things that bug me about it are:

1) Too big (I know it houses the big screen but still..)
2) Not enough memory... at all
3) Have to take it out your pocket to change songs etc... and that's if it fit's in your pocket in the first place (see point 1)

I think i'll go for the Black 30gb Video, should go nicely with my soon to be 8800

Don't get me wrong, the PSP is great (I've had one) but i guess it's just not for me... yet.

Atleast with the PSP the battery isnt going to die after as little as 6 months which my girlfriends ipod did.

If looking for video, what about the iRviver iMP series?

Also plays divx/xvid so makes it a dead easy option for moving video too it. (I really dislike portable video but the iriver made me take a second look)

I haven't seen one yet though, so size might be an issue.
