I have TomTom mobile 5 on my p910i.
It comes with the bluetooth GPS receiver and GB maps on a memory stick.
You can download the US maps from the tomtom plus website (just tell it the city you need) for about €5 each or you can get the whole of the USA on CD for £85.
Tomtom Mobile 5 maps are the same as Tomtom Navigator 5 (PDA) or Tomtom Go /One (stand alone units) maps - you just need a card reader to copy them to the memory stick (and if you load a lot of maps a larger memory stick!)
I also have Yoda giving me directions

'at the roundabout - right you must turn - the third exit you must take'
There is also a free 'safety camers' database that can be added as POI - available free from
http://www.pocketgps.co.uk and updated monthly.
