hi, my cingular contract expired so its time to get a new contract and even a better deal if possible, right now i have 3 lines with 1050 minutes peak and 3000 night and weekends for $120 with tax and no roaming in US and free long distance. The thing i like with cingulars roming is that when u roam on another providers service i still dont have to pay extra, for example i had to pay extra when i had att and was on extended roamiong area, and i hate that. anyway i need a new contract or should i keep my contract and only get a couple of new phones. i was thinking of dumping one of the phones, so then there would only be a need of 2 phones on the same contract, like a family plan. please help me find the best plan possible, and 1 year contract is almost a must for me

have you tried t-mobile yet? so far it works very fine to me (especially in my house) down in So Cal. I have 39.99 for 1000 mins when I got it during the promotion time. they rolled it down to 39.99 for 600 mins but you can get unlimited nites for 6.99. unlimited wkend is included.

Tmobile also offers a regional plan for 49.99 - 3000 anytime minutes,
and at&t gsm, I have this unlimited minute plan with free long distance and roaming on their network nation wide for 99.99, service sucks in areas where it shouldn't, but the T68i is so cool....oh yeah, tmobile also has a killer data plan for you GPRS junkies, 39.99, unlimited gprs, 200 min during the week, and 1000 on the weekend with the purchase of the sidekick....http://www.t-mobile.com/products/overview.asp?phoneid=165302....wonder if the sim could be put into something else like a gprs pcmcia wireless modem, unlimited gprs surfing for your laptop, that's so cheap....but maybe tmobile has a way to block it.

T-Mobile is still running the 1000 min anytime with roamin and long dist free. Weekend free as well. For only $39.99/month. A super plan! They also have the cheapest GPRS data plan - starting at $2.99

I think the 1000 min/39.99 T-Mo plan is the best. Cingular has introduced a similar plan now.

One awesome thing with Cingular is that they have followed European providers by allowing roll-over minutes. T-Mobile should pick up on that too.

the new NRE cingular employee plan that cingular is offering right now for current employees includes:
1000 incoming
1000 outgoing
FREE LD
unlimited GPRS
wap
mobile2mobile
$.29 roaming [usually $.79]
wildfire [usually $9.99, personal voice activated assistant]
no contract [usually 1-2 years]
no deposit required [up to $1000 depending on credit]
no activation [$36]
...all for $20
good enough? not bad for a second line i guess...
