I was wondering for some time now whether there are any optical zoom adaptors for the K750 or for camera phones in general. After seeing this thread, it seems to me there is a possibility .. So guys any one of you have come across such adaptor ?

Nice question. I guess the cheapest method is make you're own and stick'um with Blu-Tac. Start a topic - Pictures taken with Lens adapters or filters.

Check the K700 pictures thread - there are zoom and macro shots taken by blackspot and myself mostly and a few others, using optical lenses held in front of the camera (for example jewellers eye-glass, telescope, binoculars etc).

I've done some telephoto shots myself with the K750 using an old pair of binoculars. Getting the placement is difficult, and holding it there tedious, so some kind of attachment harness or purpose designed optical add-on would be very useful indeed.

lol um... if you are so interested in photography, then buy a digi cam for gods sake. Seriourly, it's worth having, more than some crappy adaptor...

Yeah I saw that, that’s what made me ask this question in the first place….

@ints
I am not talking about using a K750 as a pro digicam. However in my opinion since the quality of the K750 is fairly good it makes sense to have a zoom lens adaptor. As I see it in another few years mobile phone cameras will replace most of the consumer digital cameras.

By looking back at how phone cameras evolved we know that first came ad-on cameras, then came phones with built in cameras and flasher ad-ons, now we see flash lights integrated to the phone. The next step in phone cameras in my opinion is optical zooming, so if there is ever going to be a zoom adaptor now is the perfect time to introduce them.

well since th K750 has a pretty big lens cover, perhaps someone could use a zoom glass and fit it in front of the camera lens but making the lens cover hold it in place? I don't know if I make myself understandable but if anyone does understand me, please feed this incomplete idea
