> SE Battery troubles

My SE T230 handset, while working fine until recently, has generated a new kind of problem.
When I start a conversation, after a minute or two the phone shows "Low Battery" warning and shuts down. This happens even when the battery is fully charged. I restart the mobile and it works fine again, shutting down again in my next conversation. I've seen this problem in other SE devices as well, especially the SE T100/105.
I need to know whether this is a battery problem or a software problem.

if it was a battery problem surely it would go dead when you tried to do anything. think its a software problem if it happens just in a call.

The problem with the T230 is that it is now out of warrenty so if you take it to a service centre they will charge you for updating the software and it cant be updated online like the newer phones.
The easiest thing, and probably the cheapist thing to do is to find a second hand phone that works.

What firmware is the phone currently on?
A firmware reflash should do the trick..take it to a service centre..

not worth all the hastle anyway. a t610 is only around £30 anyway so might aswell get a better phone

i feel that it doesnt matter how old the phone is a upgrade is what i would reccomend. even a cheap £20 phone. new batterys are £5 anyway.

as i see, the problem is the old fw and the old batt. hopefully a simple upgrade will help, actually, it do works at older fones, cos the batt has to work ca 3-4 years long.
