Hello all,
I'm seriously thinking about kicking out Windows and start using Linux (Debian 3.0 to be exact). Most software I use at the moment is available in same or even better quality then available for Windows. Only thing is, I haven't found any software to replace the Ericsson (XTNDConnect, MPM, etc...) so I can synchronise my information with for example a e-mail program. Can anyone tell me if there is any software available or what programming language (if nothing is available) is "easy" to learn and makes it possible for me to do this under Linux? Also I would still like to be able to use my phone as a modem... Thanks in advance!
P.S. I use an IrDa link (Actisys 220+ serial connector if I'm correct)

Uhm, there is one project going on,
http://www.campana.vi.it/ottavio/progetti/myericsson.php3?lang=en
but it's to early to be usable for anything. But I hope it will be a great application. I'm using Linux as well, and I hate the lack of software for Ericsson phones. Btw. I can really recommend Debian, been using it a couple of years.
Best regards,
Stian

KDE has Kandi that manages the phonebook and can sync with KPIM

If you want to make good use of your phone's capabilities, you should try and stick to Windows and MS Outlook.

Works like a charm for me

:):) Don't know about T39, but it should work... Hope the guy writing it will keep on coding on it.

Hi everybody,
I am new in this forum. I am trying to use my T39m on a linux box, preferably with KDE's Kandy. Does anybody use it?
I can't make it read the full phonebook, only a part with the default.kandy profile. If I change the profile I can issue the read phonebook command succesfully in the terminal windows, but the normal user panel doesn't work
