> New Fix For Duo Transfer Bug

Excuse my newb appearance but I've probably read these forums more than most but I've never posted. Im fairly certain no one has said what I have to say before.
The anticipated release of new firmware for the W800 and K750 got me playing with transferring files to my Orange UK K750. I'd dont know why I never tried it until now but if found that if I transfer files to the phones memory then from the phone to my 512mb Sony card afterwards (via Manage Files in the menu) there's no file corruption. I've been using MyPhoneExplorer to transfer the files.
So far every file (and batch of files) I've tried has failed to transfer completely in the normal manner but completed sucessfully in my new way. I know this method is of limited scope since the phone only has an internal memory of ~40mb and hopefully the new firmeware should fix the issue but none of the other fixes have ever worked for me.
I thought I'd post to see if this works for anyone else and I'm curious as to why this should work better. I can think of various reasons but not being a phone engineer I dont know.

Very clever... none of the other "fixes" on here worked for me, but this one does. Thanks!

lol, he's using MyPhoneExplorer (as in
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=105374) which allows you to drag and drop files right onto the phone memory...

m8 the reason why no one thought of this is probably cause its seems a little logical, its the only way i transfer with out worrying...
think about it, theres no thread telling you how to tie your shoe, why, cause you know it...
not dissing you m8, just seems a little to obviuos dont ya think...?
n-e-way, glad to see you finally posting... welcome...

I agree, it is obvious; it was the first thing i tried. But a lot of people overlook the obvious. I just thought it was worth saying considering the other less practical workarounds including buying a card reader that have been suggested.
