ok now I have a w800i under my hands and want to copy the phonebook from my p910i to it. I tried transferring the whole phonebook via bluetooth but then it appears really wired on the w800i, contacts with the phonenumber from other contacts, contacts that appear as email on other contacts etc.
This is really strange as those are two

phones and then should work.
Has anyone some solution for me as I don't want to manually have to insert my contacts to the w800i
thanks in advance.

Or beam them via BT or IR. (If you have more than the W800 can handle though thise can be a bit of an issue)

hope it went well for you
posted the first by WAP so was a bit short
anyway, just meant copy not backup to an application that reads the Contact data as usable date:
Name Address Phone EMail etc...
and then use that app to Sync to your new phone
anyway ~ good luck and should save on the typing

I tried sending all my contacts via bluetooth to My pocket pc, then I sent the contacts from the pocket pc to the w800i via bluetooth and that worked
So I didn't try moving it like you said Beep, but good to know if I wont have my pocket pc around and need to copy my contacts
I also think I spotted the problem which is, the "contacts.vcf" are sent then all the contacts are sent to the w800i and the w800i screws it up. What my pocket pc did when I selected "send all contacts" it did send them one at time and I had to press yes when every contact was recived to add it to the phonebook.
Can anyone confirm this? that the w800i can only add one contact at time? And it would also be interesting to know why
