> Does Agile Messenger do this ?

I can't trial the latest version because of a much earlier version I had installed on my P910. Does the latest version of Agile Messenger --
1 -- Give you a 'someone has added you to their contacts list' notification, like you can get on the Windows MSN Messenger?
2 -- Let you use the return key of the keypad to send messages (rather having to keep tapping a Send softkey on the screen)?
TIA.
Stuart

I'm reliably informed that the answer to question 2 is "yes" -- so who's going to answer question 1 for me now?

I'm pretty sure the answer to number 2 is no. As for number 1, i'm not too sure, but I would think it's a no as well.

Try VeriChat. It is the best IM around.

Yes, but ... it's $25 *per annum* isn't it?
Whereas Agile is a one-off payment of 19.95 EUR, similarly with jMSN Messenger.
Is VeriChat really worth the extra? Even its PTT feature only works with other VeriChat users, as I understand it.
I use jMSN Messenger at the moment, and I'm quite happy with it, the one thing it lacks (for me) is that 'added to contacts list' notification that I mention in my original post. But the P910's keypad (and external keyboards) are fully supported.

For the record, you are correct on both counts. (I've now bought the app.)
The 'added to someone's contact list notification' feature is *supposed* to work, apparently, and indeed does so on some versions of Agile Messenger for other phones -- Agile's tech support are looking into it.

Certainly. VeriChat is worth it. Besides extra features, it has bots:
instant weather info, movies info, sports info, yellow pages, driving direction, currency rates, stocks info, translation, traffic info and ...
