Has anyone tried the 4gb psp harddisk from datel (http://tinyurl.com/bgj3d) on a p910 or any other

that supports msduo pro? It would be cool to have a 4gb hdd on my p910i or w800i

Yeah I know its really big and doesn't fit to any phone, but 4gb of movies and stuff

If it works then it would be great, imagine you are traveling in a plane and you could just plug 4gb of movies on your p910 how sweet would that be. You could just unplug the hdd when the flight is over and then you dont have anything hanging out of your phone.

Why not just get a 4 GB memory stick?

are they out jet? And don't forget this hdd is cheaper than a 2gb msduo so it will be a lot cheaper than 4gb msduo.
Also its probably possible to raplace the 4gb hdd by taking the connectors from it and fit it onto bigger hdd even 20gb, but probably the p910 filesystem doesn't support so big hdd...

Well you'd need a few batteries. A 2GB Stick will hold a good 10-15 movies. At best one battery will watch 2-3 thats a long long flight. In fact more useful would be a big capacity battery that would double as an angled stand for the P910 in landscape mode ....

It doesn't have to mean that you will watch all 4gb of films, just that you will have 4gb og choice, and also better quality encoding because you will not have to worry about storage. I think its a cool idea.

The P910i does not support cards bigger than 1GB or does it?
I have yet to get my hands on a 2GB card.

as said before the p8/900 will only take up to 128 MB
and as said before p910 will only go up to 2 GB
thats it no more .
it wont matter that it's a hard drive it still wont work.
as for the idea of it yes i think if you had a psp HD that was formated to 2GB then yes i think it will work but there is no point

sony also said the psp would only hold up to 2gb cards but hey then came the 4gb hard disk from max
I guess some psp and p910 owners (other than me

) need to test this out.
