> Network busy? Barely recieving calls?
Bookmark topic
Hi everyone!
I was wondering... ever since I got my w800i I've been having problems recieving calls. People would tell me (and I have tried as well from my home phone) that when they call it rings once then goes to voicemail- some people have to call 8 times before my phone actually rings!
Most of the time I just get a new voicemail notification and no miss calls. Also when I try to make an outgoing call... 85% of the time it says network busy and I have to keep on retrying til I can actually make a call! Any help would be oh-so apprecaited! Thanks a lot!
BTW, I'm using Cingular, it's unlocked with the R1NA005 firmware.
Thanks!

No I haven't contaced them because when I switch to my Nokia, everything is fine, but when I use my w800, that's when I have problems.

Ok so I called Cingular... no network problems- They told me take out the battery... restart my phone a few times. That's about it. Still having the same problems.

could it be that you are in an area where cingular 850 MHz is operating or stronger instead of 1900 MHz network? what nokia phone are you using? is it the North American version with 850 MHz?

Find out if the Nokia uses the same band as the SE.If it does, it's surely the phone. If it's unlocked, that might be the cause. To have an unbiased opinion ask some1 to lend u a different brand and use it4some time.If that's fine, the SE is the problem.

Cingular sucks.....well, here in OKC. Whenever i go out of state my phone works perfectly...damn 850 mhz!
I've had the same problem and then it fixed itself...just give it time (I know it sucks).
