> 256mb for k750 or a sony mp3 A1000?
Bookmark topic
ok guys I need your advices,I am planning to get a 256mb for my k750 so I can use it as a mp3 player and in another way I am seduced by the new NW-A1000 6GB player from sony at 250$.
http://www.sony.co.uk/view/Sh[....]w&category=PAW+Network+Walkman
What I could see is :
Advantages of the memory stick k750:
-price
-one unit for answering calls and listen to music.
disadvantage :
-too small because every mp3 I have is between 7 and 12 mb so it will give me only between 22 to 35 songs and the 512mb is way too expensive and when I will change my phone I will loose this card because next phones have already 512mb integrated.
Advantage of the a1000:
-6gb !!! between 500 and 850 songs!
-Astonishing design ,killer look!
Disadvantages:
-price (but less then ipod)
-no video,only mp3 oriented
So What should I choose????

How will you loose the card? The phones have integrated memory + MS stick slot.
Also I don't belive that mp3 player have the same price as a 256mb MS.
I have phone + mp3 player. Better batterylife + more space, but on the other hand I have two devices on me...
My opinion is, you should either buy a 1gb+ MSPD or a mp3 player. No way you should buy a 256mb card!
NW-A1000 is a good mp3 player though the NW-A3000 got 58% longer battery life. (20h Vs. 35h)

If storage is a problem for you then get a separate MP3 player, but personally I think 512MB is adequate for a MP3 player as it can store more than 4 hrs of high quality (256kbps) music. 512MB stick costs about $50 ~ max $100 which is still less than half the price of a Walkman. Besides, having one device instead of 2 is always convenient.
BTW if you decide to go with a separate player search a little more as there are so many other MP3 player brands like the Creative , iRiver etc.. I have seen many MP3 players having capacities near 6GB for much less than $250.
