Hi. Really need some help. I am look for the right firmware version for my W800. I need one that can read and text simpified Chinese and mute shutter and focus sound when in camera mood. Can anyone help me! thanks!

Shutter sound:

to MUTE shutter use phone in Silent mode (press and hold #HASH key)
finalize with the DaVinci Client/Logger (this will cost 1 credit)

I don't know if you will have an option to turn shutter sound back on with the DaVinci method!

The DaVinci method will allow shutter sound to mute in silent mode.
You'll can then turn shutter sound on when not in silent mode

Firmware with simpified Chinese support:

I'm not sure I can answer this question becuase I have learnt that things are not quite so simple!!!

Anyway, DaVinci looks the best for the "Home Flasher" woops!

using their client will show the latest firmwares - so update if you plan to go ahead

Here are some example Firmware for DaVinci that may have simpified Chinese support

All this are just tips and you'll need to find your own conclusion.

The reason is whether or not to unlock or debrand or if SEUS is available.

What Network are you on? Vodafone, VIPnet, O2, Orange etc...
Did you buy on contract, PAYG or second hand...
Phone unlocked? Debranded? Branded?
Your location?
Can you use SEUS?
What firmware on you on now? see service menu: >*

@who on Asia firmware that have the mutli-search R1AA versions for both K750/W800 are now available only at Service centre.

The point is that you may beable to use SEUS to flash your phone for free or a Service Center (depending on if the phone is original).

Then to get rid of camera sound, Finalize with DaVinci (costs 1 credit)
